Formulated for men who are image conscious and who wish to combat the effects of aging. A major cause of skin aging is free radical damage caused by environmental effects such as UV light, together with heat and cold which cause skin to become dry, resulting in wrinkles and loss of tone.
The Age Defence 3 in 1 All Natural Shaving Cream has:-
- A natural fragrance is provided by a blend of menthol, from which it will also derive light cooling effect and Red Thyme which adds a vibrant note to the product.
- Anti ageing effects are derived for a complex of two actives, both proven to be anti- aging. Used in combination they offer protection from the elements, to give perceived smoothing of wrinkles. The first is a marine extract harvested from the coast of California, where it grows in extreme temperatures up to 75 degrees Celsius. In this environment concentrations of free radical are high and the extract, therefore has to have high levels of free radical scavengers to survive in these conditions. It exhibits multi enzyme activity and can mop up many free radicals without degrading. It has been proven to protect lipids and help the skin resist aggression from heat damage. The performance of this ingredient is also proved to increase with increased aggression.
- The second, also a marine extract is harvested in Antarctica and is proven to be effective against the cold. It is composed of a mixture of proteins (approx 80%) and sugars. It has excellent spreadability and due to this helps prevent dryness of the skin.
