Caring for Different Skin Types

Dry Skin

Unable to retain moisture

You have Dry Skin if it has the following characteristics:

  • Feels uncomfortable and tight especially after shaving or washing
  • Has a tendency to flake and peel easily and appears scaly
  • Looks rough and dull and is prone to wrinkles and lines

Tips to keep Dry Skin looking good:

  • Use a gentle facial cleanser everyday that won't dry the skin further
  • Use a facial scrub twice a week to remove dead cells
  • Use a light natural moisturiser and a night cream to revitalise and repair

Normal Skin

Maintains the right moisture levels and balanced production of sebum.

You have Normal Skin if it has the following characteristics:

  • Has a fine even texture with a supple and smooth surface
  • Looks clear and does not develop spots and blemishes
  • The pores of the skin are fine and hardly visible
  • Healthy balance between oil and moisture contents and is therefore moist yet neither greasy nor dry

Tips to keep Normal Skin looking good:

  • Follow a sensible skin care routine using a quality facial cleanser every day
  • Have a facial scrub twice a week
  • Use a mud mask weekly to draw out any toxins and keep skin clear and healthy

Tips to keep Combination Skin looking good:

  • Always use a good quality facial cleanser twice a day and a facial scrub at least twice a week, with plenty of hot water, focusing on the forehead, nose and chin
  • Use a mud mask once or twice a week to absorb excess oil and toxins from the pores to keep them clean and reduce their appearance
  • Avoid shaving foams and soap that will dry the skin and worsen the imbalance.
